Job Details:

  2. Pay Range: $16.50 per hour for entry-level up to $25.00 per hour for experienced professionals

Overview: Hero Practice Services seeks a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high-quality, compassionate care. We focus on delivering efficient dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children nationwide since 2006. Join us and be a hero!

The Opportunity: Support children and young people in our communities by improving their health and well-being.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent patient experience
  • Supporting scheduling and patient education about treatment urgency
  • Taking diagnostic radiographs and intraoral pictures
  • Managing patient records using dental software
  • Behavior management per pediatric dentistry guidelines
  • Maintaining a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment
  • Ensuring the practice is clean and presentable, including restrooms and lobby
  • Complying with all relevant regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Experience in a dental office
  • Proficiency with dental instruments and understanding their use
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire for growth
  • Organizational skills and dental knowledge

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, walk, stand, talk, hear, operate office equipment, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
