Pay Range: From $23.00 per hour for entry-level and up to $29.00 per hour for very experienced, well-qualified professionals

The Opportunity:

This role has the unique opportunity to support the Heroes who actively serve the children and young people in our communities by improving their overall health and well-being.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Provide direct training and development for Dental Assistants
• Assist in the management of the clinical schedule and back-office flow
• Provide a high level of chair-side assistance demonstrating a DA Level IV mastery of dental skills
• Ensure the practice has adequate supplies to meet patient demands both in the clinical setting and with lab inventory
• Provide behavior management using guidelines approved by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment
• Maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, employee handbook)

You will be required to possess the following:

• At least 1 year of previous experience as a dental assistant on pediatric patients
• Identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner; use reason even when dealing with emotional topics
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, listening to patients’ needs, and possess a friendly and outgoing demeanor
• Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth
• Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry
