Job summary

Salt Dental Partners in New York is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented dental assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, assist during appointments, take radiographs and impressions, and help prepare the treatment room.

You will document care in patient records, maintain a clean, sterile workspace, and support doctors and staff with scheduling and charting using our dental software. Required active state license, CPR/BLS, 6+ months experience; CODA program preferred.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state.
• 6+ months of experience as a dental assistant.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• Quick learner with strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Comfortable with software used for charting, records, and scheduling.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
