  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Experience assisting during dental procedures.
  • Knowledge of sterilization, infection control, and OSHA standards.
  • Experience preparing treatment rooms and managing supplies.
  • Strong patient service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with both pediatric and adult patients.
  • Basic computer and documentation skills.
  • Professional demeanor and team-oriented attitude.
  • Dental Assistant Certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in an FQHC, community health center, or public health setting.
  • Experience with digital radiography/digital X-rays.
  • Bilingual candidates highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during procedures and ensure patient comfort.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and manage supplies to maintain clinic efficiency.
  • Support efficient patient flow and positive patient experience.

Our client is seeking 2 Permanent Dental Assistants to support its growing Dental Department. These opportunities are available at two clinic locations, offering the chance to work in a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center that has served Chicago's underserved communities for over 50 years. The Dental Assistant will support dentists in providing quality dental care to both adult and pediatric patients while ensuring efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
