United Dental Partners is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dental Assistant in Chicago, IL to support pediatric patients and assist dentists during procedures.

The role requires chairside assisting experience, excellent customer service, and strong communication skills, with certifications in Coronal Polishing & Pit/Fissure Sealants preferred. Competitively paid hourly, with benefits and 40-hour work week potential.

• This position includes all aspects of clinical dental care.

Job Description

We are looking for a part-time qualified Pediatric Dental Assistants to join our premiere dental practice! The right applicant will have experience preparing pediatric dentistry patients, ensuring that they are comfortable and offering another set of hands for procedures. Assistants must help Dentists to clearly see problems and changes within a patient's mouth. This often requires taking x-rays of the bone structure of a patient's jaw, as well as taking photographs of the teeth.

Responsibilities

• Help Dentists prepare for procedures by having the necessary tools sterilized and in place
• Help keep a patient's mouth clean and dry during procedures and hand Dentists the necessary tools at the appropriate time
• Patient education; explain procedures and discuss treatment progress and plans
• This position will include all aspects of clinical dental care
