More About The Role
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
- Review patient health histories to deliver quality care.
- Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, following state dental practice acts.
- Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
- Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
- Manage supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to implement systems and optimize workflow.

About Bowling Green Family Dentistry

Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Experience in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
- Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Understanding of HIPAA and data protection protocols.
Preferred Experience
- At least 1 year of dental office experience.
- Experience with Dentrix or similar software.
- Dental assisting certification.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
- Prolonged sitting and standing.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Availability for periodic training sessions.
- TB test completion prior to employment, with accommodations as needed.
