More About The Role

1. Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
2. Review patient health histories to deliver quality care.
3. Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
4. Provide chairside assistance during procedures, following state dental practice acts.
5. Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
6. Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
7. Manage supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed.
8. Collaborate with team members to implement systems and optimize workflow.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
• Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA and data protection protocols.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1 year of dental office experience.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar software.
• Dental assisting certification.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Availability for periodic training sessions.
• TB test completion prior to employment, with accommodations as needed.
