Advantage Dental+ in Boaz, Alabama is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our clinicians and educate patients. This on-site role offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide chair-side support, assist with radiographs, document treatment plans, and ensure sterilization and patient experience standards are met.

Formación

• Completion of a dental assisting program or enrollment in our internal training program.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists by charting, patient education, and operatory set-up and clean-up.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience at all phases of their appointment.
• Take and process X-Rays as prescribed by the Dentist.
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files at the direction of the Dentist.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
• Educate patients on the importance of their oral health.
• Work collaboratively with the team on all areas of the practice.

Primary responsibilities of our dental assistants

Qualifications to join us as a dental assistant

• Completion of a dental assisting program or enrollment in our internal training program
• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software such as Dentrix, Eagle Soft, or Dental Vision
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to ensure an exceptional patient experience

Compensation Range

16-20.00 hourly
