Job summary

Stonecreek Dental Care in Birmingham, AL is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. This full-time role offers a steady schedule Monday - Thursday with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Responsibilities include assisting the dentist, capturing diagnostic-quality x-rays, and delivering excellent patient care while adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Hourly rate is commensurate with experience, reflecting a supportive, team-based work environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year minimum paid Dental Assistant experience
• Experience with chair side 4-handed dentistry
• General DA experience is preferred
• OSHA and HIPAA understanding and ability to comply with office, state and dental board rules and regulations to ensure patient safety.
• Good written communication skills to ensure clinical notes are completed accurately and in compliance with office policies.
• Excellent customer service required to ensure patients feel welcome to decrease any dental anxiety.

• Capture X-rays of diagnostic quality efficiently

Dental Assistant - Full Time with Benefits

Monday - Thursday 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience Requirements:

• Preferred 1 year minimum paid Dental Assistant experience
• Experience with chair side 4-handed dentistry
• General DA experience is preferred

• Ability to follow directions and anticipate the dentist's needs during treatment to ensure procedures are completed in a timely fashion.
• Successful candidates are motivated, detail-oriented, and self starters with high initiative.
• Ability to capture x-rays of diagnostic quality in an efficient time manner.
