Job summary

Chase Brexton Health Care in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Regular Full-Time Dental Assistant to perform chair side assisting, maintain instruments, handle radiographs, and manage dental supply inventory for a busy clinic.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Dental Assistant program, Maryland Dental Radiation Technology Certificate, and at least two years of experience. Certification in Basic Dental Assisting is required, with expanded functions preferred.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Focus

• Chair side Assisting Duties
• Greets and seats patients
• Prepares room for treatment
• Assists Dentists
• Cleans room after treatment to prepare for next patient

Dental and Mental Health

• Take any appropriate radiograph as requested.
• Keeps instruments cleaned and maintained
• Keep dental supplies correct and on hand
• Maintain stock of dental supplies

Checking, Examining, & Recording

• Keeps maintenance log
• Maintain up to date record of supply ordering
• Perform other duties as assigned
