Job summary

A pediatric dental practice in Baltimore is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Pediatric Dental Assistant to join their team. The role involves welcoming children, assisting during dental procedures, and ensuring a positive, engaging experience for young patients. Candidates are preferred to have previous dental assisting experience, with a focus on working with children being a plus. Qualifications

  • Previous dental assisting experience preferred, pediatric experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols required.
  • X-ray certification or CDA, RDA, EFDA, EDDA credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable.
  • Assist doctors during dental procedures and exams.
  • Take X-rays, charting, and update patient records.
  • Set up and break down operatories between patients.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean environment.
  • Support smooth patient flow ensuring every visit is a Kidsperience!
