  3. Pay Range: From $16.00 per hour for entry-level and up to $25.00 per hour for experienced professionals
  4. Job Profile: Dental Assistant
  5. Overview: Hero Practice Services is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high-quality and compassionate care to all patients. We focus on delivering systems, processes, and people needed to efficiently provide quality dental, vision, and orthodontic care to children in underserved communities. You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Providing the best patient experience possible
  • Supporting optimized schedules and educating patients and guardians on treatment importance and urgency
  • Taking diagnostic radiographs and intraoral pictures (periapical, bitewings, panoramic)
  • Managing patient records using dental software
  • Applying behavior management techniques approved by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
  • Maintaining a clean, sterile, and patient-centric environment
  • Ensuring the practice is clean and presentable, including cleaning restrooms, lobby, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Complying with all relevant regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, Dental Board, etc.)

You Will Be Required To Possess The Following:

  • Experience in a dental office
  • Proficiency with hygiene and operative instruments and understanding their proper use
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire for professional growth
  • Organizational skills and a solid knowledge of dentistry

Physical Requirements: The role requires full body motion, including sitting, walking, standing, hearing, talking, handling equipment, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
