Your Role

The Dental Assistant primarily assists Dentists with primary patient care services to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists with treatment and care of dental patients
  • Offer chairside assistance for patient care services and procedures
  • Serve as a primary contact for patients upon entry to the dental clinic
  • Provide customer service to both the dentist and patients
  • Prepare dental setup before the dentist enters the room
  • Perform special treatment procedures in Pedodontic, Endodontic, Prosthetic, and Periodontic dentistry
  • Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment
  • Complete daily spore tests, clean x-ray processing equipment, and manage dental evacuation traps
  • Disinfect and pour impressions as needed
Non-Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Attend staff meetings and other assigned meetings
Requirements
What you bring:

  • Education: Dental assistant certification, EDDA preferred; BLS certification
  • Experience: Previous clinical dental assisting experience preferred
  • Materials/Equipment: Use of EMR systems, dental instruments, x-ray tech, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Work Environment: Office within a clinical setting, physical activity up to 25 lbs, communication and decision-making skills
Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm, or as needed. Salary range: $22.62 - $26.50/hour, based on experience.
