Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment per health regulations.
• Maintain accurate medical records including histories and treatment plans.
• Take X-rays adhering to safety protocols.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies; possible front desk duties.

Overview

Schedule

• 8-9 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Saturdays as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $20-26 per hour, based on experience

Duties

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans.
• Take X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
• Perform administrative tasks such as managing the inventory of dental supplies
• Possible front desk duties
