Job summary

Elite-Dental-Partners is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care and education. The role focuses on chair-side support, patient education, X-ray processing, and maintaining patient records in a collaborative environment.

You will work closely with dentists and hygienists to ensure a welcoming, efficient patient experience and uphold our standards for community health and patient confidence.

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program and state boards certification.
• Radiology certification required.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with the entire dental team.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists by charting, patient education, operatory set-up and cleanup.
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment.
• Take and process X-Rays.
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
• Educate patients on the importance of their oral health and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program, certification as required by the State Dental Board
• Radiology certification required to be compliant with the State Dental Board
• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to create a great environment
