Main Street Auto is hiring a General Tire and Lube Technician to join our team. You will perform tire rotations, oil changes, inspections, and balance tires to ensure vehicle safety and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous tire and lube technician experience preferred.
• Proficient with tire installation, oil change procedures and vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs.
• Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify issues or safety concerns.
• Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires.
• Maintain accurate service records (parts used, time spent).
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and provide service.
• Adhere to safety protocols in the shop.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Tire and Lube Technician to join our team. • 7:30AM-6:30PM (M-F)
• $15-$18 per hour- weekly pay

Responsibilities

• Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision and efficiency
• Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues or safety concerns
• Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to promote even tread wear and vehicle stability
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and time spent on each task
• Assist customers with tire recommendations, answering inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service
• Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines while working in a shop environment

Requirements

• must be over the age of 18
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a tire and lube technician or similar role preferred
• Proficient knowledge of tire installation, repair techniques, and oil change procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to operate shop equipment and tools safely
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
