Responsibilities include staff development, cross-department collaboration, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while delivering high-quality documentation and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital denial management or revenue cycle denial mitigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proven supervisory/leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Effective oral and written communication with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Directs audits and manages denials to minimize errors, rejections, and avoidable denials.
• Analyzes data to identify root causes of denials and implements process improvements to prevent repeated errors.
• Collaborates with Revenue Cycle stakeholders to facilitate data sharing and maximize claims reimbursement.
• Monitors team performance for timeliness, productivity, and quality standards.
• Provides staff training, mentorship, and performance appraisals as needed.
