Job summary

R1 RCM, a leading provider of technology-driven revenue cycle solutions, is hiring a Denials & AR Operations Support I in Michigan. The role supports the denials and AR department with data entry, document retrieval, and correspondence, while assisting with appeals to payors.

You will collaborate with clinical staff, navigate multiple portals to submit appeals, and rely on a production-based background plus experience in insurance verification and hospital registration to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Production-based background is preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification and hospital registration is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and organize hospital documentation including UB-04s and EOBs.
• Meet weekly performance standards and goals.
• Coordinate with clinical departments and use provider systems to submit appeals.
• Finalize letters using the Appeal Finalization Process & Audit Tools.
• Handle data entry, document retrieval, and correspondence.
