Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Denials & AR Operations Support I to assist our denials and AR department with data entry, document retrieval, and correspondence management.

You will finalize and submit appeals to payors, coordinating with clinical teams and using multiple portals to ensure timely submissions. The role requires a production mindset and experience with insurance verification and hospital registration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with denial and AR processes is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret hospital documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level office support tasks including data entry, document retrieval, and handling correspondence.
• Finalize and submit appeals to payors on behalf of clients.
• Communicate with the clinical department and work within portals to submit appeals.
• Maintain understanding of provider system platforms and obtain necessary documentation for case files.
• Identify appeal deadlines and communicate timely.
• Process letters according to the Appeal Finalization Process & Audit Tools.
