  • Obtain and evaluate pricing from subcontractors, vendors, trucking companies, disposal facilities, and recycling facilities.
  • Identify scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions, site conditions, and other risks that could affect project cost or execution.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive bids and proposals while maintaining appropriate project margins.
  • Work with the Demolition Division Manager, Superintendents, and Foremen to review and validate estimates, production assumptions, equipment needs, and proposed means and methods.
  • Participate in bid reviews, pre-bid meetings, site walks, and estimate turnover meetings as needed.
  • Review completed projects and compare estimated versus actual costs and production to improve future estimates.
  • Maintain current knowledge of labor, equipment, trucking, disposal, recycling, and subcontractor costs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and other industry partners.
  • Support the Demolition Division Manager in identifying potential projects and future work opportunities.
  • Maintain organized estimating records, takeoffs, quotes, assumptions, exclusions, and supporting documentation.
  • Manage multiple estimates and make sure bids are accurate and submitted by required deadlines.
  • Account for applicable safety, environmental, OSHA, customer, and site‑specific requirements when developing estimates.
