Job summary

The Allure Group seeks a Memory Lane Coordinator to join our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY. You will plan and lead activity programs for the dementia unit, create monthly calendars, and promote resident engagement to improve quality of life.

Requirements include a high school diploma, experience with seniors, and COVID-19 vaccination. Bilingual skills and music experience are preferred; we offer competitive pay and benefits, with strong leadership support.

Qualifications

• Experience with the senior population required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct activity programs for the dementia unit.
• Create a monthly and daily recreation calendar and schedule for the unit.
• Encourage resident participation and leisure interests.
• Observe and record resident attendance, mood, and involvement to evaluate progress.
• Arrange and attend dementia education classes and training for staff.
• Manage dementia support groups and education for families.
