The caregiver should be reliable, compassionate, and experienced with dementia care, available Fridays after 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm and Saturdays 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, with day and night availability.
The mother is on a ventilator at night; the sitter's role is to be present for emergencies, manage evening routines, diaper care, and ensure safety.
