Job summary

Mom's Home Care is hiring experienced caregivers for a client in Brentwood (West Los Angeles). The role involves caring for an elderly client with memory concerns, offering full 12-hour day and overnight shifts (7am–7pm / 7pm–7am). Pay is $21/hr plus overtime.

We seek dependable, honest individuals who communicate well, show up on time, and work smoothly as part of a team. A valid driver’s license and car for weekday transport are preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Two years of previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Patience, humor, kindness — you know, all the good stuff.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility support.
• Monitor vital signs as needed, ensuring the health and safety of clients.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Drive clients to appointments, errands, and outings
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
