Belmont Village Rancho Santa Fe is seeking dedicated Dementia Caregivers to join a newly constructed Memory Care community. You will provide hands-on care and support to residents with complex cognitive needs, helping with daily activities in a secure, comforting environment.

As part of a collaborative team, you will build meaningful relationships, follow structured routines, and document care while upholding high standards of safety and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider.
• Must be able to effectively use company issued electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops for job-related tasks.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.
• Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job‑related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws.

• Promote socialization and inspire participation in community activities while prioritizing resident safety and well-being
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided and promptly report any observed changes to supervisors
• Uphold high standards of care, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction

About The Role

As a Dementia Caregiver at Belmont Village, you will provide hands-on care and support to seniors living in our secured Memory Care community. Working as part of a collaborative care team, you'll assist residents with daily activities while building meaningful relationships that enhance their comfort, wellbeing, and quality of life.

We're seeking dependable, team-oriented care professionals who take pride in their work, maintain a positive attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates are comfortable caring for multiple residents with various stages of cognitive impairment who may require behavioral redirection and extensive hands-on care including bathing, dressing and incontinence care. Previous experience as a Caregiver with a special needs population, C.N.A., Resident Assistant, Direct Support Professional (DSP), Patient Care Assistant, or in a similar healthcare, senior living, assisted living, memory care, or group home setting is highly valued. C.N.A. license is not required.
