Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Chicago. You will provide hands-on care and support to residents, assist with daily activities, and help create a warm, comfortable living environment.

Successful candidates are team-oriented, reliable, and dedicated to high-quality resident care. CNA experience is valued but not required; we welcome caring individuals who want to build a career in senior living.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider.
• Must be able to use company issued electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
• Offers of employment may require post-offer screenings (background check, drug screen, physical, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community.
• Promote socialization and participation in community activities while prioritizing safety and well being.
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and report changes to supervisors.
• Uphold high standards of care, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed.
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction top priorities in every interaction.

About The Role

As a Caregiver at Belmont Village, you will provide hands-on care and support to seniors living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Working as part of a collaborative care team, you'll assist residents with daily activities while building meaningful relationships that enhance their comfort, wellbeing, and quality of life.

We're seeking dependable, team-oriented professionals who take pride in their work, maintain a positive attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates are comfortable caring for multiple residents and delivering exceptional care and hospitality. Previous experience as a Caregiver, C.N.A., Resident Assistant, Direct Support Professional (DSP), Patient Care Assistant, or in a similar healthcare, senior living, assisted living, memory care, or group home setting is highly valued.

A C.N.A. license is not required. We welcome experienced caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants, and individuals who are passionate about building a career in senior living and healthcare.
