Job summary

The Arlington is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and coordinate meaningful activities for residents, including those with memory care needs. The role emphasizes wellness and engagement, aligned with the community’s standards and programs.

Responsibilities include scheduling, event planning, and delivering activities that support physical, mental, and social well-being, with a schedule that includes Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Prior experience with dementia care is required.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with dementia patients.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Six months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and coordinating all resident activities.
• Promote a healthy community culture for residents and staff.
• Provide educational opportunities for residents and staff in disease prevention and wellness.
• Lead daily resident activities per community standards.
• Plan and distribute monthly calendars and arrange diverse programs for memory care residents.
