Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Grove, OK is seeking a dedicated shop technician to process parts according to work orders and specifications. You will remove shielding after processing and maintain strict adherence to drawings and instructions.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to visually inspect parts, and safe handling of materials. Applicants should be prepared to complete paperwork, and to apply touch-up paint where needed while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 months Demasking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process parts according to the work order and applicable specifications and drawings.
• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks.
• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.).
• Remove shielding once processing has been completed.
• Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly.
• Apply touch up paint to areas of concern.
• Complete work order and all necessary paperwork according to job, drawings and specifications.
• Manage hazardous materials safely and in accordance with state and federal regulations.
