Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, LLC is seeking a shop technician to process parts according to work orders and drawings. You will follow supervisor instructions, ensure parts are processed without damage, remove shielding, inspect for quality, and apply touch up paint as needed.

You will also complete paperwork and handle hazardous materials in compliance with regulations. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

• Demasking experience preferred (1–3 months).
• Follow safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process parts according to work order and specifications.

• Remove shielding after processing.
• Visually verify completion of process.
• Apply touch up paint as needed.

Process parts according to shop work order and applicable specifications and drawings
Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks
Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.)
Remove shielding once processing has been completed
Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly
Apply touch up paint to areas of concern
Complete work order and all necessary paperwork according to job, drawings and specifications
Manage hazardous materials safely and in accordance with state and federal regulations
