Qualifications

• 3 to 7+ years of experience in demand or supply planning.
• Hands-on SAP APO experience is required.
• Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, life sciences, or similar environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical trends, market data, and business inputs.
• Create and optimize supply plans to meet customer demand while controlling inventory.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to improve forecast accuracy.
• Monitor forecast performance and adjust plans as conditions change.
• Participate in S&OP/IBP planning activities.
• Balance supply constraints with manufacturing capacity and inventory targets.
• Monitor inventory health and resolve shortages or excess.
• Execute supply plans and address planning exceptions.

Hybrid in Summit NJ (1 Summit Way) 1-2 days per week, Remote is acceptable for the right candidate

12 Month Contract

Summit, NJ (hybrid and remote considered)

This role is responsible for day-to-day demand and supply planning within SAP APO. Responsibilities include maintaining forecasts, developing and executing supply plans, monitoring inventory and service levels, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to keep supply and demand aligned. Both demand planning and supply planning positions are available, and candidates are considered for either based on experience.

Demand Planning responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical trends, market intelligence, and business inputs.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to improve forecast accuracy.
• Monitor forecast performance and recommend adjustments as conditions change.
• Participate in S&OP/IBP planning activities.
• Analyze inventory levels and service performance to support customer demand.

Supply Planning responsibilities

• Develop production and supply plans that meet customer demand while optimizing inventory.
• Balance supply constraints, manufacturing capacity, and inventory targets.
• Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Logistics.
• Monitor inventory health and act on potential shortages or excess.
• Execute supply plans and resolve planning exceptions.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7+ years of experience in demand or supply planning.
• Hands-on SAP APO experience (required).
• Experience in a consumer products, manufacturing, life sciences, or similar supply chain environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred

• CPG, healthcare, or manufacturing industry experience.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP).
