Job summary

24 Seven Talent is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead the demand planning process for a luxury fragrance and beauty portfolio across North America. You will partner with local and global stakeholders to forecast demand, translate market intelligence into actionable recommendations, and help maintain product availability in a dynamic, high-growth business.

You will drive S&OP workstreams, assess seasonality and trends, own inventory projections, and improve forecast accuracy.

• Working knowledge of supply chain, inventory, demand planning concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve demand planning processes for luxury beauty portfolio across North America.
• Lead the demand-planning workstream within the S&OP process, aligning plans with portfolio goals and supply strategies.
• Assess seasonality, competitive activity, and trends to develop data-driven forecast recommendations.
• Own inventory performance analysis and future inventory projections to support sell-through targets.
• Improve forecast accuracy and demand plan execution in support of financial and operational goals.
• Partner with Supply Planning to adjust plans in response to risks and opportunities.
• Provide visibility into short- and long-term sales forecasts for global planning stakeholders.
• Monitor KPI’s including forecast accuracy, bias, inventory costs, and service levels.
• Lead initiatives to support growth and increasing complexity of niche luxury beauty business.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, and Finance to deliver insights and recommendations.
• Evaluate shipment trends, sell-through results, seasonality, and inventory health to inform forecasts.

In this role, you will partner with local and global stakeholders to build accurate forecasts, turn market intelligence into actionable recommendations, and help maintain product availability in a dynamic, high-growth business.

What You’ll Do

• Enhance demand planning processes by applying planning expertise, developing new capabilities, adapting to changing business needs, and benchmarking best practices.
• Lead the demand-planning workstream within the S&OP process, aligning demand plans with portfolio goals, supply strategies, and commercial priorities.
• Assess seasonality, competitive activity, consumer trends, and sales objectives to develop data-driven forecast recommendations.
• Own inventory performance analysis and future inventory projections, ensuring plans support sell-through targets and evolving customer demand.
• Improve forecast accuracy and demand plan execution in support of financial and operational goals.
• Partner with Supply Planning to adjust plans proactively in response to risks, opportunities, constraints, and changing business conditions.
• Provide clear visibility into short- and long-term sales forecasts for global planning stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, forecast bias, inventory costs, and service levels.
• Lead demand planning initiatives that support the growth and increasing complexity of a niche luxury beauty business.
• Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, and Finance by delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
• Evaluate shipment trends, sell-through results, seasonality, and inventory health to inform forecast decisions and leadership updates.
• Collaborate on product launches by developing demand forecasts, aligning assumptions, managing timelines, and ensuring operational readiness.
• Communicate material forecast changes, risks, opportunities, and scenario outlooks while incorporating supply updates into forecast revisions.

What You’ll Bring

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data cleaning, analysis, reporting, and formula-driven workbooks.
• Strong data-management skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Working knowledge of supply chain, inventory, demand planning, or supply planning concepts.
• Experience with SAP, IBP, BW, or similar enterprise planning systems is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Power Query is a plus.
• Ability to manage recurring deliverables while adapting to changing priorities and project needs.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
