Job summary

JDE Peet’s in Georgia (US) seeks a Local Demand Planner to build the demand plan within IBP and to manage distributor warehouse coverage while improving forecast accuracy and bias for the country/MSU.

You will coordinate S&OP with Sales, Marketing, FP&A, and Supply Planning; lead cross-functional alignment; support NPD regional initiatives; and develop automation tools and dashboards to simplify workflows and decision-making.

Qualifications

• FMCG background preferred and supply chain process expertise.
• Microsoft Office and SAP/APO proficiency.
• English and Russian language skills.
• Strong analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain demand forecasts for EE region (Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova) to ensure accuracy.
• Lead cross-functional S&OP alignment with Sales, Marketing, FP&A, and Supply Planning.
• Manage Supply Planning from European sources, track inventories, and oversee replenishment.
• Monitor CSL, OTIF, FCA and optimize stock to reduce stockouts.
• Support new product launches by providing demand plans and coordinating supply readiness.
• Develop automation tools, dashboards, and reporting to simplify workflows.
• Contribute to team engagement, onboarding, and participation in meetings.

Job description

The Local Demand Planner creates the demand plan in frames of IBP process, controls products’ coverage on distributor warehouse and improves Forecast accuracy & Forecast bias for the country/MSU.

The Operations function ensures the integration of all key business processes from supplier to customers, providing products, services and information that add value for customers and stakeholders. The function manages sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain (warehousing, logistics and distribution) and planning processes and ensures optimal alignment between demand and supply at a global scale, taking into account efficiency, required flexibility, security of supply and considering costs, working capital, quality levels, service levels, company and society values.

Demand Planning

Prepare and maintain demand forecasts for EE region (Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova) to ensure accuracy and alignment with business targets.

S&OP Coordination

Lead cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, FP&A, and Supply Planning to secure forecast consensus and service level achievement. Lean S&OP Meetings and discussions about Promo Planning & Baseline Sales

Supply Planning

Manage Supply Planning from European Sources: manage orders, track inventories, oversee truck scheduling, and ensure timely replenishment during peak periods and absences.

Service & Inventory Management

Monitor CSL, OTIF, FCA and inventory levels, taking corrective actions to minimize OOS and optimize stock.

NPD & Projects

Support new product launches and regional initiatives by providing demand plans and coordinating supply chain readiness.

Process Improvement

Develop automation tools, dashboards, and reporting to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve decision-making

Team & Culture

Contribute to team engagement by supporting events, onboarding, and participation in functional meetings.
