Demand Planning & Escalation Analytics Lead

Location: Folsom, CA 95630

Pay Rate: $55–$65 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day | Day Shift

What You'll Do

Drive Critical Demand Visibility

• Build and maintain a consolidated view of critical demand across business segments, customers, and products.
• Analyze forecast changes, demand requirements, and risk signals to identify potential supply gaps and business impacts.
• Ensure data accuracy and alignment across Sales, Segment, and Business Unit Operations teams.
• Own the critical-demand tracker as the central resource for escalation readiness, status, and accountability.

Deliver Executive-Level Analytics and Insights

• Develop decision-ready analytics and recommendations for leadership escalation forums.
• Evaluate demand gaps, supply constraints, and allocation trade-offs across short- and medium-range planning horizons.
• Translate complex data into clear executive insights explaining what is at risk, why it matters, when action is needed, and which solutions are recommended.
• Incorporate AI-driven solutions to enhance forecasting insights, analytics, and decision-making.
• Partner with Planning and Supply Chain teams to assess scenarios, quantify customer impact, and identify feasible solutions.

Lead Escalation Management and Follow-Through

• Coordinate the escalation process from intake and prioritization through leadership decisions and final resolution.
• Prepare escalation packages supported by demand data, timing, quantified impact, and recommended actions.
• Track accountable owners, action items, deadlines, and leadership commitments.
• Maintain consistent stakeholder communications and ensure timely follow-through on critical decisions.
• Establish quality standards so every escalation is supported by accurate, complete, and decision-ready information.

Collaborate Across Business Functions

• Partner with Segment Leaders, Sales and Business Development Managers, Business Unit Operations, Supply Chain, and executive leadership.
• Build alignment around customer priorities, supply constraints, and executable demand and supply decisions.
• Constructively challenge assumptions, resolve conflicting inputs, and influence stakeholders through data-backed recommendations.

Improve Planning Processes and Performance

• Identify recurring demand and supply challenges and drive root-cause analysis.
• Improve data consistency, lead-time visibility, and early-warning indicators.
• Recommend process improvements that reduce late-stage escalations and strengthen operational efficiency.
• Develop repeatable practices that improve the speed, quality, and consistency of business decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, analytics, or business operations.
• Demonstrated ability to transform complex or ambiguous data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Experience influencing decisions in executive-level or cross-functional business forums.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
• A proactive approach to accountability, data quality, and operational execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor, technology, or other complex supply-constrained industries.
• Working knowledge of forecasting, constrained supply planning, allocation strategies, and escalation processes.
• Experience with advanced analytics, data modeling, and planning systems.
• Familiarity with AI-driven analytics or solutions that improve forecasting and business decision support.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions constructively, and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
