Job summary

Sofidel America is seeking a Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Pennsylvania. You will develop forecasts, analyze trends, and align production and inventory planning with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to improve forecast accuracy and service levels.

Responsibilities include maintaining forecasts using historical data, monitoring KPIs, and supporting S&OP processes. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, advanced Excel, and data analytics is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field required.
  • 2+ years in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience within consumer products, paper, packaging, or related manufacturing industries preferred.
  • Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management, S&OP, and supply chain planning processes.
  • Experience working with ERP, MRP, or demand planning systems; SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide business recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI or other reporting tools preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.

  • Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and supply chain constraints to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to support demand planning and S&OP processes.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, inventory performance, service levels, and key demand planning metrics.
  • Identify demand fluctuations and provide recommendations to improve forecast reliability and supply chain performance.
  • Partner with Production Planning and Procurement teams to align demand forecasts with manufacturing and inventory strategies.
  • Support new product introductions by incorporating demand forecasts into planning activities.
  • Utilize demand planning systems, reporting tools, and data analytics to improve planning accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and business analysis related to demand trends, forecast performance, and planning activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning processes and overall supply chain performance.

We are currently seeking a Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team. This role will be responsible for developing demand forecasts, analyzing customer trends, and supporting effective production and inventory planning.
