Job summary

Dal-Tile, a Mohawk Industries subsidiary, is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to support the Supply Chain through forecasting, analytics and BI-driven decision making. You will contribute to S&OP processes and help align demand with capacity across product lines from our Dallas operation.

Bachelor's degree required with 2–4 years of relevant experience. This is an in-office role (4 days/week) at 7834 CF Hawn Freeway, Dallas, TX 75217.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in demand planning or analytics.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support S&OP development and analyze demand analytics.
  • Collaborate with functions to develop, monitor and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Execute day-to-day demand planning activities and capacity alignment.
  • Maintain and improve supply chain analytics using BI tools.
  • Develop processes to deliver value-added analytics for decision making.
  • Manage inventories to meet targets and drive continuous improvement.

The Demand Planning Analyst is an established performer that works to facilitate and support the Supply Chain function and projects. This role supports the enterprise supply chain network through the development of business plans and on-going analysis of business and industry data.

This role does NOT provide current or future sponsorship assistance.

Please note that we will NOT provide relocation assistance (Candidates are expected to relocate on own 3 weeks from time of offer acceptance).

Employees are required to report in office 4 days a week / 7834 CF Hawn Freeway | Dallas, Texas 75217 (NO NEGOTIATION).

This is a direct hire role; We are NOT open to employing through contractor or agency.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
  • Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
  • Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
  • Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical imagination to address business challenges.
  • Conduct analysis, integration, and coordination of various elements in assigned area of supporting supply chain
  • Collaborate with necessary functions/positions to develop, monitor, and improve forecast accuracy for product line(s) as assigned.
  • Execute the "day to day" demand planning activities, including but not limited to supporting the S&OP development and analyzing demand analytics.
  • Help analyze and align demand with capacity for assigned groups.
  • Maintain, improve, and provide recommendations on the assigned Supply Chain function using BI software.
  • Develop new processes and procedures to deliver value-added supply chain analytical services to support management decision making process.
  • Actively manage working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets.
  • Monitor output and drive continuous improvement with each defined metric.
  • Recommend new ways to track inventory reporting.
  • Execute cost and profit modeling using existing capacity planning tools.
  • May be responsible for additional responsibilities as defined by area such as sales operations planning and freight.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 2-4 years' relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
Competencies:
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
  • Highly analytical.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
