Job summary

Semtech in Alhambra, California seeks a Demand Planner to own the demand forecast for assigned product families. You will participate in the monthly S&OP cycle, translating sales input, distributor sell-through, and baselines into a single consensus plan that drives supply commitments and inventory targets.

You will also convert the demand plan into an executable supply plan using MRP, maintain BOM and planning master data, and monitor supply coverage across the foundry and OSAT network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years in demand/supply planning or analytics.
• Experience with enterprise planning systems and MRP execution.
• Strong collaboration across Sales, Operations and Finance.
• Advanced Excel and data-driven forecasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the baseline forecast for assigned product families across an 18‑month horizon.
• Lead the demand review step of the monthly S&OP process and publish the plan.
• Apply ABC/XYZ and segmentation to match forecasting effort to value.
• Track forecast accuracy and bias; perform root-cause analysis.
• Convert demand plan into a constrained supply plan using MRP/SNP.
• Balance supply and demand and drive corrective actions with stakeholders.
