Job summary

Henkel Corporation is seeking a Demand Planning professional to own and optimize the monthly demand forecast for the Consumer Brands unit in the United States. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Finance to incorporate promotions, launches and cannibalization into the plan and lead cross-functional S&OP processes.

The role emphasizes forecast accuracy, KPI improvement, and continuous process enhancements to better align supply with demand while supporting Henkel’s culture of teamwork

Qualifications

• Experience with demand planning and S&OP processes.
• Ability to analyze trade promotions, launches, cannibalization and other inputs for forecast.
• Strong focus on forecast accuracy and KPI improvement.
• Comfort collaborating across sales, marketing, finance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed item level base business forecasts in volume and value and proactively anticipate and track risks and opportunities to the forecast.
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing to analyze inputs to the forecast such as trade promotion plans, new item launches, cannibalization for the monthly demand plan.
• Lead a monthly drumbeat of meetings as part of the Sales and Operations Planning process, coordinating cross functionally between sales, marketing, finance and operations
• Improve forecast accuracy to drive improvement in KPIs such as service level and inventory carry
• Originate and implement continuous improvements to the demand planning and S&OP processes
• Support the company’s culture and business mission by promoting communication, teamwork, and the respectful treatment of all individuals
