Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a Plant Scheduler/Production Planning Analyst to obtain and analyze data to support daily/weekly production plans across multiple plants.

You will partner with demand planning, sales, and operations to ensure inventory availability, avoid stockouts, and alert management to supply interruptions; requires 5–7 years in manufacturing or supply chain and a bachelor’s or high school with experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will obtain and analyze data from various sources to maintain working plans for food manufacturing plants throughout J&J Snack Foods Corp, enabling Plant Schedulers to create daily/weekly production plans for these facilities. Procurement will base materials orders off expected production based on demand plans and alert management to any potential supply interruptions.

Essential Functions

• Maintain the Working Plans with the latest information from all sources available.
• Familiarize yourself with all products in the J&J Snack Foods portfolio.
• Serve as the key contact between demand and supply planning across the company.
• Create accurate plans to ensure sufficient inventory leading to customer satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with sales and plant operations to best serve the companies objectives.
• Prioritize and understand plant limitations and capacity utilization.
• Actively measure capacity and project the need for capital investment on new production lines.
• Troubleshoot production and delivery interruptions.
• Alert Management and Sales to any potential supply interruptions well before Out of Stocks.
• Monitor MEI for accuracy and recommend changes to the forecast.

Also, the ability to prioritize, problem solve and work with a team are integral for success. The candidate will be required to work with the Plant Schedulers, Sales, Plant Managers, Distribution, and the VP of Business Operations.

Education And Experience

Required Education: High School Graduate, Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience: 5 to 7 years in Manufacturing, Supply Chain experience required.

US Salary Pay Range

$80,000 - $85,000 USD
