Qualifications

Planning, forecasting and allocating product are the crucial first steps in the product’s journey to our clients. It takes analytical, strategic, and results-oriented inventory management professionals to build our brand partnerships, forecast client behaviors and optimize inventory levels across our network. Operations and logistics complete the products’ journey into our clients’ hands. As a Demand Planner, you will ensure the item level sales forecast supports the financial sales forecast and business objectives. Reporting to the Manager, Demand Planning, you will use predictive methodologies to maximize retail sales, increase inventory turns and optimize in-stocks across Sephora stores/channels.

  • Manage forecast and history exceptions at the item/selling channel level and item/store level if needed. Analyze event impacts to baseline forecasts and ensures appropriate sales lifts are applied to future events
  • Collaborate with Merchandise Planning to ensure bottoms up forecast aligns with OTB forecast within the planning horizon

  • Own core sales forecasts and replenishment purchases

  • Validate and adjust demand system seasonal profiles, as needed (holiday shifts, store animations and promotional event shifts)

  • Communicate shifts in SKU and/or store level trends to Merchandising and Merchandise Planning to influence Merchandising and Assortment Strategies

The annual base salary range for this position is $75,650.00- $84,550.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
