• Actively manage risks, support on-time customer delivery, and identify volatility areas.
• Interface between Program Management, Customer Support, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Procurement.
• Participate in monthly SIOP meetings, review forecasts and supply chain plans, optimize inventories.
• Analyze forecast accuracy and bias, implement enhancements, improve On-Time Delivery (OTD), and reduce Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory.
• Support continuous improvement in forecasting and collaboration processes.

We’re looking for a talented Demand Planner to play a pivotal role in Safran’s Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. You’ll translate customer requirements, market intelligence, and program assumptions into a reliable, integrated demand plan—essential for supply, capacity, inventory, and financial planning.

About the Role

As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring that the demand planning process is efficient and effective, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Financial & Operational Alignment: Develop and publish a timely 24-month rolling demand forecast (units & sales value) every month—serving as the basis for operating plans and projections.
• Demand Planning & Analysis: Analyze historical demand, filter out exceptions, apply statistical forecasting, understand and communicate variance, propose improvements, and incorporate new demand signals.
• Risk Mitigation: Actively manage risks, support on-time customer delivery, and utilize planning tools to identify areas of volatility and error.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the main interface between Program Management, Customer Support, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Procurement, facilitating alignment and informed decision-making.
• SIOP Process Facilitation: Participate in monthly meetings, review forecasts and supply chain plans, optimize inventories, and drive sales opportunities.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze forecast accuracy and bias, implement enhancements, improve On-Time Delivery (OTD), and reduce Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory.
• Other Duties: Support continuous improvement in forecasting and collaboration processes.
