Simms Fishing Products LLC in Irvine, California is seeking a Demand Planner to create and maintain forecast models, analyze demand, and lead collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams. This role includes regular monitoring of KPIs and requires strong skills in forecasting and analytics.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in Planning and a relevant degree. The position offers a competitive salary within the range of $83,400 to $90,000, alongside comprehensive benefits.
This role is focused on executing the responsibilities for the Demand Planning process. The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for their product category incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from Sales, Product Marketing, and other sources. This position leads the dialogue with Sales and Product Marketing in analyzing the business to understand our customer, manage and strategize ways to create new demand. In addition, this position will regularly monitor, update, and message demand. This position will also be the subject matter expert of Demand KPIs used to communicate forecast accuracy and alignment to Financial and corporate targets set (budget / latest operating plan). This person will be a key collaborator in the development in line architecture as well as an integral liaison between the front‑end functions (Product and Sales & Marketing) and back‑end functions (Supply Planning, Supply Operations Planning, Operations, and Finance) in the establishment and execution of the forecast. This position reports to the Sales and Operations Manager. It is expected to work in the office a minimum of four days a week, and remotely one day a week, but as required, this position will be expected to be in the office to support meetings and business.
Pay range: Annual Salary: $83,400.00 – $90,000.00. The actual annual salary will be based on experience, location, education, skills, and achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
