Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Demand Planner to support the availability and data accuracy of finished goods and service parts across our aftermarket network. You will assist with foundational planning activities that keep parts flowing to Reset facilities, helping drive on-time delivery and product readiness.

This role requires maintaining accurate product data, processing MRP messages, and supporting inventory analysis across our Used Equipment plants in an office-based environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in demand planning or similar.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure data accuracy across product lifecycle stages.
  • Analyze unplanned excess inventory and root-cause issues.
  • Provide inputs for S&OP and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Maintain product master data in planning systems and align inventory to demand.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement to resolve part availability.
  • Forecast demand using trend analysis, order history, and promotions.

As a Demand Planner, you will support the availability and data accuracy of finished goods and service parts across our aftermarket network. You'll assist with foundational planning activities that keep parts flowing to our Reset facilities, helping drive on-time delivery and product readiness. This role is critical in maintaining accurate product data, processing MRP messages, and supporting inventory analysis across our Used Equipment plants.

YOUR IMPACT
  • Ensure data accuracy across product lifecycle stages, including new introductions and obsolescence.
  • Analyze and act on unplanned excess inventory and collaborate on root cause resolution.
  • Provide inputs for the S&OP process and contribute to forecast accuracy improvements.
  • Maintain product master data in planning systems (e.g., E1) and support inventory alignment to demand.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to resolve part availability constraints.
  • Partner with product teams to understand upcoming engineering changes and lifecycle transitions.
  • Forecast demand for aftermarket parts and finished goods using trend analysis, order history, and promotions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field and three (3) or more years of relevant experience (equivalent to nine (9) years total in education and experience); or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role .

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP tools such as JDE E1; Excel proficiency required.
  • Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to Data Access Studio (DAS) or similar reporting platforms.
  • Understanding of S&OP and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in aftermarket supply chain or managing finished goods.
WORKING CONDITIONS

The following represents general working conditions for this office-based role. Specific conditions may vary depending on business needs and individual circumstances.

This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and temperature-controlled settings.

Duties are largely sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone.

Visual acuity to operate a computer and read documents is required, along with auditory ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.

Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files.

Pay Range:

$64,500.00 - $103,500.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
