Job summary

The Kinsa Group is recruiting a Demand Planner for our client in Baltimore, MD or Cincinnati, OH. You will develop and maintain demand forecasts, translate customer demand signals into actionable planning data, and support manufacturing network decisions.

You will partner with Sales, Finance, Production Planning and Operations to align forecasts with promotions, launches and capacity. Proficiency with ERP and forecasting systems, plus strong Excel/data analysis skills, are essential.

Kinsa is recruiting for a: Demand Planner
Location: BaltimoreMD or Cincinnati OH (Onsite)

For more than a century, our client has been on the forefront of flavor! They are looking to add a Demand Planner to their team in either Baltimore or Cincinnati, responsible for developing and maintaining demand forecasts and translating customer demand signals into actionable planning information to support the company’s manufacturing network. This position analyzes historical demand, business trends and customer inputs while partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations and other stakeholders. You will play an important role in supporting production planning, inventory optimization, forecast accuracy, customer service and effective decision‑making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

• Develop, maintain and analyze demand forecasts using historical sales, demand trends, customer intelligence, seasonality and other business inputs.
• Translate demand signals, forecast changes, risks, opportunities and variances into actionable supply, inventory and production-planning information.
• Partner with Sales, commercial teams, Finance, Production Planning, Operations and Supply Chain to align forecasts with customer changes, new business, promotions, product launches and manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain accurate planning information in ERP, forecasting or planning systems; develop reports that communicate trends, risks and opportunities; and support cross-functional demand-review processes and continuous improvement.

Competencies Needed for Success:

• Demand planning, forecasting or related supply-chain planning experience in manufacturing, food, beverage or CPG environments, including use of historical demand, trends, business inputs and customer intelligence.
• Strong analytical, Excel and data-analysis skills with the ability to interpret sales, demand, inventory, forecast variance and broader supply-chain planning information.
• Experience with ERP, forecasting or demand-planning systems, along with knowledge of forecasting, inventory, S&OP or similar planning processes.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; experience with multi-SKU portfolios, new product launches and promotional forecasting is preferred.
