Job Title: Demand Manager

Department: Supply Chain

Reports To: Director of Supply Chain & Demand Management

Location: Chandler, AZ

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Demand Manager to join our dynamic supply chain team. The Demand Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the demand planning and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with production capabilities and inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, exceptional analytical skills, and a keen understanding of the defense/aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts through collaboration with program management, business development, and operations teams.
  • Lead planning team through continuous improvement activities and implement best practices.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer intelligence to predict future demand.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve demand-supply imbalances and mitigate potential risks.
  • Implement and manage demand planning tools and systems to enhance forecasting & planning accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain and production departments to align demand forecasts with manufacturing capabilities and inventory strategies.
  • Lead Sales, Inventory, Operations & Planning process, facilitating decision-making on resource allocation, capacity expansion and future planning.
  • Work closely with procurement & strategic sourcing departments to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules and demand requirements.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to understand demand drivers and adjust plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management within the manufacturing or defense industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Proficient in MS Office, ERP, MRP and visualization & reporting tools (PBI).

Pay Range:
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 89,200.00 - 165,600.00.
