As part of the PCO team, you will help deliver integrated solutions for large enterprise projects spanning multiple GE Vernova business units, with values ranging from $4 billion to $10 billion, from early customer engagement through proposal development.

Job Description

As the primary liaison among the PCO, business unit Commercial teams, and the EDGE Commercial Excellence team, you will work across GE Vernova business segments to support demand and proposal management. • Synthesize large quantities of enterprise-level demand data into clear visuals that support decision-making by GE Vernova senior leadership.

  • Proposal Management: Lead cross-segment proposal development and coordination to deliver timely, high-quality integrated proposals to customers.
    • Define and manage proposal scope, schedule, cost, and risk in collaboration with the Sales, Commercial, and Risk teams of the relevant business units.
    • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the primary customer interface, leading negotiations and clarifications to ensure that customer requirements are met.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with the EDGE Commercial Excellence team, focusing on enhancing demand management and market intelligence processes.
  • Standard Work: Develop and document standard work procedures to ensure consistent, reliable, and easily understood business reporting.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
  • Eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in strategic marketing, sales, sales operations, commercial operations, or commercial finance roles within the power industry.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Highly analytical, with the ability to develop sound, logical business recommendations using limited data.
  • Previous experience working in proposal management.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage senior leadership.
  • Ability to drive process simplification and influence others.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively, develop new approaches, and address implementation obstacles.
  • Ability to anticipate and respond to changing conditions and potentially ambiguous environments while setting an appropriate strategy.
  • Proven record of success working in multicultural, regional, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong financial analysis skills and a deep understanding of financial business metrics.
