sojo keeps vacation rental properties stocked with guest amenities — toiletries, kitchen essentials, coffee, paper goods — without the property manager lifting a finger. Our platform connects to their reservation calendar, builds the right kit for each stay, and delivers it before every turn. No more spreadsheets, no more last‑minute runs to Costco, no more guessing what goes where. 600+ property managers use sojo across 75,000+ properties, and we're just getting started. We're a small, collaborative team that moves fast and builds together.
Overview
sojo's marketing team creates the demand that drives the business. We're looking for someone to own demand generation — the campaigns, the nurture, the lifecycle automation, and the database that makes it all work.
You'll live in HubSpot every day: building and running campaigns, managing nurture sequences, segmenting audiences, and making sure every push is tracked and measurable. You're the reason a property manager who visited our site three weeks ago gets the right email at the right time and books a meeting with our sales team. You report directly to the VP of Marketing.
What You'll Own
- Campaigns. You build and run campaigns in HubSpot — email pushes, roadshow and conference campaigns, seasonal promotions, upsell pushes to existing customers. Every campaign is named, tracked, and measured so we know exactly which ones put meetings on the sales team's calendar. You're the person making sure sojo stays in front of the right property managers with the right message — and that we can prove it turned into pipeline.
- Nurture and lifecycle. Not every lead is ready today. You build and manage the nurture sequences and lifecycle automation that warm contacts over time and surface them to sales the moment they're ready to talk.
- The database. sojo's CRM is a growth asset, and you treat it like one. Segmentation, hygiene, and growth — making sure every campaign has a bigger and better audience to work with, and that the data is clean enough to actually target off of.
- Attribution and measurement. Today, most of our web clicks show up as "Direct Traffic" because nothing is tagged. You fix that. UTMs on every link, campaign wrappers on every push, clean reporting on what drove what. When a campaign sources a meeting for the sales team, they know exactly why that prospect is warm and what campaign got them there — not just "they came from the website."
What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years in demand gen or marketing at a B2B SaaS — an operator who builds and runs campaigns, not someone who briefs an agency
- Hands-on in HubSpot — lists, workflows, email campaigns, nurture sequences, lifecycle automation. This is your primary tool and you're fast in it.
- You understand how email, nurture, and lifecycle work together as one system — not three separate things you check on occasionally
- SMB or mid-market experience, ideally with a usage-based or land-and-expand model
- You use AI to work faster and smarter — it's part of how you actually operate, not just something on your LinkedIn
- You want to build the engine, not inherit one
What Year One Looks Like
- The database is segmented, clean, and growing — every campaign has a better audience than the last
- Nurture and campaign sequences are live and feeding the sales team a steady stream of meetings — not one‑off blasts, but a system that runs and compounds
- You've built a repeatable campaign engine where we can point at any campaign and see the meetings and pipeline it produced
- Attribution is clean — every campaign is tagged and measured, and the sales team knows exactly why a meeting landed on their calendar and what campaign sourced it
- Campaigns targeting existing customers are driving adoption and expansion
- You've got a weekly rhythm with the VP of Marketing — what's working, what's dying, what to double down on
