Job summary

KELTEC is seeking a Demand Planner to forecast product demand, plan inventory, and align supply with market needs. The role emphasizes collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.

The candidate will leverage statistical models and data analysis to improve forecast accuracy, assess promotional impact, and report on KPIs to guide decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics
• Experience with demand planning software (SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, Kinaxis, Anaplan)
• Strong background in statistical modeling and data analysis
• Proven ability to collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams

Responsibilities

• Create accurate forecasts of future product demand using statistical models and data analysis
• Plan inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize stockouts
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operations to align demand plans with business strategy
• Analyze historical data, market trends, and competitor information to identify patterns
• Assess impact of promotions on demand and adjust forecasts accordingly
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify process improvements
• Prepare regular reports on demand forecasts and KPIs
