Job summary

Sportsman’s Warehouse is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead forecasting, inventory planning, and OTB management. You’ll partner with Merchandising, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive accurate forecasts and optimized inventory across regions.

The role requires a strong analytical background, experience with demand planning methodologies, and leadership capabilities to influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage a planning team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading demand planning, forecasting, and inventory planning.
• Ability to analyze data to influence business decisions and drive results.
• Strong Excel skills and data visualization capability.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with merchandising, finance, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop short-, mid-, and long-range demand forecasts across products and regions.
• Lead Open-to-Buy planning and manage inventory investments against budgets.
• Monitor forecast performance, reduce bias, and lead consensus planning.
• Create dashboards and KPIs to measure demand and inventory productivity.
• Own purchase order processes and collaborate with vendors and planning teams.
• Mentor and develop planning staff and establish governance for planning processes.
