LVI Associates is seeking an experienced Automation Project Manager to lead large-scale DeltaV automation projects in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. You will oversee execution from concept through commissioning, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, budget alignment, and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing scope and risk, and collaborating with system integrators, EPC firms, and vendors to drive successful commissioning and startup

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical, Chemical or related discipline.
• Industry experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing large-scale Emerson DeltaV projects.
• Strong understanding of batch process automation and DCS.
• Experience leading projects through FAT, SAT, commissioning, validation and startup.
• Working knowledge of GMP, GAMP 5, CSV and validation requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Drive automation project execution through design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and qualification phases.
• Oversee risk management activities and proactively resolve technical and project-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP 5, FDA, and industry regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular project updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Support capital project planning and long-term automation strategies across manufacturing sites.
• Manage relationships with system integrators, EPC firms, and automation vendors.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline

Pharma/biotech manufacturing industry experience

DeltaV DCS and batch process automation knowledge
