Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of automation or controls engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV.
• Experience with regulated manufacturing environments (pharma/biotech).
• Understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Experience supporting commissioning, startup, FAT or SAT activities.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements and documentation practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Walkersville, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Support DeltaV configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Assist automation engineering activities for manufacturing equipment and process systems.
• Support system modifications, upgrades, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, loop checks, functional testing, and field troubleshooting.
• Support development and maintenance of automation documentation and technical records.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, operations, quality, and validation teams.
• Support investigation and resolution of automation-related issues.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with GMP and site procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to automation performance and reliability.
