Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver automation projects from kick-off through commissioning, FAT/SAT, and start-up support.
  • Develop control strategies, graphics, alarms, historian integration, and batch functionality.
  • Support upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts.
  • Act as technical lead with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot complex controls and process issues during commissioning and plant support.
  • Manage scope, timelines, and deliverables; mentor junior engineers.

Are you a DeltaV Automation Engineer looking to take ownership of complex process automation projects from concept through commissioning?

We’re working with a growing engineering team looking to add an experienced controls engineer with strong Emerson DeltaV expertise to lead automation projects across process manufacturing environments.

You’ll play a key role delivering high-impact automation solutions, acting as both the technical lead and client-facing engineer throughout the full project lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading the design, configuration, and implementation of Emerson DeltaV control systems
  • Delivering automation projects from kick-off through FAT, SAT, commissioning, and start-up support
  • Developing and modifying control strategies, graphics, alarms, historian integration, and batch functionality
  • Supporting system upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects
  • Acting as the technical lead with clients, vendors, and internal project teams
  • Troubleshooting complex controls and process issues during commissioning and plant support activities
  • Managing project scope, timelines, and technical deliverables to ensure successful execution
  • Mentoring junior engineers and supporting best practices across the automation team
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • 5+ years of automation and process controls experience
  • Strong hands-on Emerson DeltaV experience in configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, or other DCS platforms is beneficial
  • Background supporting process manufacturing environments such as chemicals, life sciences, oil & gas, food & beverage, or pharmaceuticals
  • Ability to lead projects and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and confidence working directly with customers on-site
