Job summary

United Pharma seeks an experienced DeltaV Automation Engineer to support GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing, maintaining DeltaV and plant automation systems to drive reliability and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Quality to ensure GMP compliance. Candidates need 5+ years in automation and DeltaV expertise, with familiarity in Rockwell PLCs and PI Historian highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of automation engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV.
• Experience with Rockwell PLCs (Allen-Bradley) and OSI PI Historian.
• Knowledge of process controls, industrial instrumentation, utilities, and GMP manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with change control, CAPA, root cause analysis, and risk assessments.
• Experience with Siemens PCS 7 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for DeltaV and plant automation systems.
• Troubleshoot process controls, instrumentation, control loops, pumps, utilities, and automation issues.
• Support automation upgrades, system enhancements, and capital projects.
• Participate in change controls, deviations, CAPAs, root cause investigations, and risk assessments.
• Review P&IDs, loop drawings, control narratives, and automation documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve system performance and compliance.
• Ensure automation systems meet GMP and site quality requirements.
